Christmas decoration with antlers.

Antlers are all the latest rage! So when I saw these at my local craft store this Christmas, I could not resist and buy a few sets! They can be used in so many different ways; displayed on their own on a table, added to a floral arrangement, laid across a fireplace mantel with stockings hanging off of the points, or incorporated into a decorative piece. And that is exactly the plan I had for one of my antler sets.

I had made a pretty decoration with white and silver poinsettias, winter greens, pine cones, and some silver accents, all attached to a log I picked from the forest during a nature walk with my family. The antlers transformed this piece from the typical to modern, rustic, and unique! 

I added jute twine to the piece so that it was versatile and could be used in different ways throughout the home; it could be hung on a door in place of a traditional wreath, it could be displayed on a shelf, or used as a centrepiece.
