Cotton buds branch wreath.
When I came across some square wood pallets I knew I had struck gold! They served as the perfect background for several rustic and really neat decorative Christmas pieces I worked on this Holiday season. One of my favourites is this wreath; wood pallet stained in medium-dark walnut, then dry brushed with white paint. Natural branches arranged in a circular pattern to make a "wreath". Cotton buds sprouting from the centre of the wreath. Silver berries and shimmery silver leaves add a touch of festive sparkle.
The great thing about this piece is that it's very versatile; not only can it be displayed on a mantel or shelf, hung on a wall, or on the front door in place of a wreath, it can serve as a centre piece too! Just lay it flat on the table, place a few pillar candles or tea lights in pretty holders in the centre of the wreath, and voila! Instantly, your space is transformed into a festive wonderland!
