"Glistening tree" holiday decoration.

If you're an avid crafter like myself, then you've probably accumulated a healthy pile of left over craft supplies, random pieces of this and that... useless items that clearly could be thrown away, but you just can't bring yourself to toss them because you never know when you may need them! When my "left over" stash gets hefty enough, I like to get creative and make something that uses a good portion of these cast aways.

And that's how this piece came about... I gathered a bunch of left over little balls, ornaments, pine cones, branches, tree bark, trims and clippings of this and that and put them together to make this Christmas tree decoration.

I love how it turned out! It's so full of varying elements; it's rustic, and glamorous, it glitters and shines... it's such candy for the eyes! And the best part, is that it is made out of items that otherwise would have ended up in the trash!
