Red, white, and silver burlap stockings.

A customer had previously browsed through my website and really loved the modern and rustic burlap stockings I had made for my own family last year. But, she wanted a little bit more colour and I just happened to have the perfect fabrics ready to be incorporated into some beautiful stockings...

The fabrics I had in mind were a variety of gorgeous prints in red, white, gray, and silver.

Every stocking is unique with its own fabric on the cuff, but similar colours and identical silver stars on each turn these into a coordinating set.

Each family member received their own stocking personalized with their name hand-embroidered right on the stocking.

There is even an extra stocking for one future family member, which I will be happy to personalize when the he or she joins the family.

If there are plans of growing the family, it is a good idea to order the extra stocking(s) right away as it may not be possible to sew additional identical ones later on. I always advise customers that I do not keep much extra fabric on hand and the stock in stores changes every year, hence it may not be possible to find matching fabrics in the future.

My favourite feature about these stockings is the location of the hand-embroidery. Usually names on stockings are added to the cuff or on a name tag, so having the names vertically above the heel makes them unique.

All stockings are fully lined and double stitched to help retain their shape and prevent stretching.

Surely, Santa will be happy to see these beauties hanging off the mantel!
